Timeline

Quick Ride is a tech-enabled carpooling and ride-sharing platform that connects commuters in real-time to share daily rides. Launched in India, it serves working professionals, students, and office-goers looking for affordable and eco-friendly travel. The platform also offers bikepool and rental services.

It all started with reviews.......

Users weren’t complaining about the service. They were struggling with The Experience.

After observing users interact with the app, a few patterns began to emerge. The above were the key challenges they consistently faced during their journey.

"The same trusted functionality came with a more intuitive, user-first experience?"

WHAT IF?

Before diving into wireframes, I created a moodboard that captured the feeling of shared journeys

IDEATIONS

Key Interaction Update – Mobile Interface

Fuel Points

A point-based fare system where 1 point equals ₹1, used to show the cost of a ride.

Clicking on any of the four services opens an overlay

Ride Matching

The user selects their route, gets instantly matched with a nearby poolmate, and confirms the ride through an OTP-enabled interface.

Chats

Chats now include the option to send a carpool request directly to your preferred driver

Usability Testing

I conducted usability testing with users to evaluate how easily they could request a ride, match with drivers, use chat features, and complete bookings. Feedback guided usability improvements for a simpler, more intuitive flow
